Our Clergy

The Rev. John R. Kirkman, Image of Fr. Kirkman priest at St. Paul's, has served this parish for more than six years.  His full time job is Chaplain of Heartland Hospice of Grand Rapids; however, he provides pastoral care in Greenville at least twice each week to members and friends of the parish. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees from Western Michigan University and a master's from Colgate-Rochester Divinity School. He has been a priest of the Episcopal Church for more than thirty years, and has served parishes in Maine, Massachusetts and Western Michigan. He is married to Sherry, a teacher in Grand Rapids, and they share five grown children. Father John's special interests include music, the special needs of sick and dying persons, and small church ministry. He will be glad to meet with any persons interested in ways the Episcopal Church might meet personal or family spiritual needs.

Image of Deacon David Meyer The Rev. David Meyers was ordained to the Permanent Diaconate in 1986.  Since that time, he has assisted the  priests at St. Paul's. Living in Greenville, David has worked as a psychologist for the area schools and courts. His wife, Merry Kim, is a landscape architect who teaches horticulture to area youth. Together, they have two daughters.
